Chevrolet has just broken a brand-new record. The 2017 Chevrolet lineup won a total of 18 awards in automotive and consumer media rankings, reaching a new record for the American carmaker. Leading the way in this history-making event was the all-new 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV.
The Bolt EV has an EPA-estimated range of 238 miles with a low starting price of $37,495 before tax incentives. This makes it one of the most affordable, distance-friendly options in the market. Because of this, it comes as no surprise that the Bolt EV earned a position on the 2017 Car and Driver 10Best Cars list and the titles of Best New Car to Buy by Green Car Reports; Green Car of the Year from Green Car Journal; and Car Connection’s Best EV.
Along with these five awards for the Bolt EV, the Camaro 1LE and Corvette Grand Sport were also named on the Car and Driver 10Best Cars list, while six other Chevrolet vehicles earned spots on the prestigious Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy award winners list for their respective segments. These six models include the Colorado, Corvette, Impala, Malibu, Silverado 1500 and Volt.
Rounding out the 18 awards were the Impala and Tahoe, which earned recognition in the Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Awards, and the Bolt EV, Camaro, and Colorado, which were named as the best vehicles in their segments by the Hispanic Motor Press.
