Crossovers and SUVs are all the rage and, with competitors bringing back older nameplates, Chevrolet is looking to increase its offerings. That increase could come in the form of a return of the Chevrolet Blazer.
You read right! A new Chevrolet Blazer appears to be in the works and is expected to land between the downsized Equinox and larger Traverse. The upcoming model was spotted testing not long ago with a new design.
Fans need not worry about the return of the old Blazer’s boxy design. Spy shots indicate that the new Chevrolet Blazer will roll in as a crossover with sleek styling and an athletic stance.
The rumored Chevrolet Blazer could see third-row seating, a feature that would set it apart from most competitors in its segment. Rumors also indicate that the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine or 3.6-liter V6 engine, both of which currently power the GMC Acadia, will power the Blazer.
So, when will we see the Chevrolet Blazer?
Well, reports indicate that the new Chevrolet Blazer could hit the market sometime next year as a 2019 model. That would put the revived nameplate on the market before one of its largest competitors.
Here at Love Chevrolet, we can’t wait to see what the Chevrolet Blazer could have to offer!
